David Jolly has been training since 1994 and was initially based in Adelaide at Morphettville racecourse before deciding to make the move out to the horse-friendly environment at Goolwa in 2009. The move was made specifically to improve the performance of the stable but also to help with gaining a better lifestyle for the horses, for David and his family and for the staff.

Prior to training thoroughbred David was a leading Bloodstock agent both locally and abroad, trading horses overseas to world class jurisdictions such as Hong Kong and Singapore. David also enjoyed a stint at the British Blood Stock Agency which he believes has given him great experience and exposure to international Bloodstock and horse management.

David understands the challenges that come with training racehorses and enjoys the thrill of training a winner. Hard work, dedication and a passion for the thoroughbred are just some of the characteristics David Jolly believes are the foundation of a successful training operation and healthy lifestyle within the industry.
